- Gas heater service special of $297 inc GST applies to standard gas heaters. Ducted gas heater systems can be serviced by our gasfitters for $396 inc GST.
- Gas Heaters that are not operational or are unsafe may require fault-finding / investigative works or repairs. The standard $396 inc GST will still apply; a quote for additional labour or materials to repair or replace the gas heater will be provided.

- Check for correct operation and placement of each detector for compliance
- Clean detector and surrounding areas
- Replace 9V battery in all smoke detectors if required

We can supply and replace faulty or expired smoke alarms whilst on site for an additional charge. Interconnecting smoke alarms can be quoted by our electrician whilst onsite.

Service Includes
- Visual inspection and pictorial evidence of each gas appliance - type, location and condition
- Check for correct operation of all gas appliances in accordance with safety standards
- Confirm gas appliances are of the type suitable for the room in which they are located
- Confirm gas appliances are physically stable, securely fitted and properly connected to the gas pipework
- Confirm there is an adequate and permanent air supply suitable for the gas appliance type installed
- Check all flame failure devices are functioning correctly
- Check safety spillage with CO detector for each gas appliance (checking for the poisonous gas Carbon Monoxide)
- A quotation will be provided for the service/repair or replacement of any faulty or unsafe appliances

- A quote to service, repair or replace gas appliances where required will be provided for approval before any additional works commence.
- A gas tightness test and COC report can be completed upon request. Please be advised if a gas tightness test results in a ‘fail’, gas supply will be turned off at the mains until repair as per Australian standards AS5601.
