Calling all future tradies. We're picking 10 students to spend a day on real jobs with the Ken Hall team, and 1 of them goes home with $5,000.
A day on the tools with Ken Hall
Tradie for a day
Forget the classroom for a day. This is a real day, on real jobs, with the Ken Hall team.
10 Year 11 and 12 students from across South Australia will spend a day with us.
You'll start with breakfast at our Kent Town base, head out on the road with one of our technicians, get your hands on the tools, and finish the day back at base with the whole crew.
1 of the 10 will be chosen on the day to win $5,000 to start their professional toolkit.
If you've ever wondered whether a trade is for you, this is the easiest way to find out.

What happened last year
The 2025 Work Experience Day
Last year was our first Ken Hall Work Experience Day with SAFM, and it was a cracker.
Over 100 students applied. 10 were chosen. All 10 turned up early on Monday 10 November 2025, had breakfast with the crew, and spent the day out on real jobs with our technicians.
By the afternoon they were back at base for presentations, goodie bags and a few photos at the media wall. Hugo took home the $5,000 and went straight out to buy his first set of tools.
This year we're doing it again. You could be in the photos below next time.
